The hosts capitalized on precise serves and minimal errors in the first two sets, winning 25-19 and 25-20. Despite a dominant 25-13 third-set response from the Netherlands, China rallied in the fourth set with Li Yongzhen's decisive blocks sealing a 25-17 victory. "Our blocking and defense improved dramatically when it mattered most," said China coach Vital Heynen, reflecting on the team's tactical adjustments.
