China Secures Silver and Bronze at Asian Gymnastics Championships

Chinese gymnasts added two medals to their tally during the thrilling final day of the Asian Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Jecheon, South Korea, showcasing intense regional competition.

Huang Mingqi narrowly missed gold in the vault final, scoring 14.400 points – just 0.100 behind Iran's historic winner Mahdi Olfati. The Iranian's victory marked his country's first-ever Asian Championships gymnastics gold, underscoring the event's growing competitiveness.

In the horizontal bar final, China's Tian Hao claimed bronze with 14.700 points while teammate Shi Cong placed fifth. The event saw Chinese Taipei's Tang Chia-hung dominate with 15.233 points, followed by Japan's Tomoharu Tsunogai (14.966). The results highlight Asia's evolving gymnastics landscape, with multiple regions demonstrating world-class talent.
