The Guangsha Lions electrified their home crowd in Hangzhou with a 103-96 triumph over the Beijing Ducks on Friday, knotting the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Finals at 1-1 and reigniting the best-of-seven showdown.

Coach Wang Bo highlighted his team's defensive execution as pivotal, stating, "Tonight our players showed tremendous defensive discipline. We contained Eugene German effectively while maintaining pressure on other threats. This balance let us dictate the game's rhythm."

Trailing by five late in the second quarter, the Lions roared back with an 11-0 run to secure a halftime lead. A decisive 5-0 burst in the final quarter extended their advantage to 14 points, effectively sealing Beijing's fate.

Barry Brown spearheaded Guangsha’s offense with 31 points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Forward Hu Jinqiu added 21 points to the scoreboard.

Beijing’s Eugene German led their effort with 21 points, supported by Zhou Qi’s 13-point, 10-rebound double-double. The series now shifts to Beijing for Monday’s critical Game 3, where the Ducks aim to reclaim momentum in front of their home fans.
