Novak Djokovic Eyes Historic 100th Title at Miami Open Final

Novak Djokovic moved one step closer to securing his 100th career singles title after a commanding 6-2, 6-3 semifinal victory over Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov at the Miami Open on Friday. The Serbian tennis legend displayed clinical precision, breaking Dimitrov's serve twice in the first set and dominating with a nearly flawless serving performance.

After an initial stumble in the opening game, Djokovic steadied himself, winning 85% of his first-serve points and committing only one double fault. His aggression forced Dimitrov into errors, culminating in a match-winning ace. "I felt in the flow from the start," Djokovic said post-match. "To reach another final here is special."

The 37-year-old, who holds a record 24 Grand Slam titles, now aims to become the third player in Open Era history to claim 100 ATP Tour trophies, trailing only Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103). A win on Sunday would also earn him a seventh Miami Open title, surpassing Andre Agassi's six.

Standing in his way is Czech rising star Jakub Mensik, who seeks his maiden Masters 1000 crown. Djokovic leads their head-to-head 1-0, having defeated the 18-year-old at last year's Paris Masters.
