Jiang Xinyu and Wu Fang-Hsien Advance to Miami Open Semifinals

In a thrilling display of teamwork, China's Jiang Xinyu and Wu Fang-Hsien of Chinese Taipei secured their place in the Miami Open women's doubles semifinals with a decisive 6-3, 6-4 victory over Chinese mainland pair Wang Xinyu and Zheng Saisai on Wednesday. The duo showcased precision under pressure, firing four aces and capitalizing on 80% of their break point opportunities during the 80-minute match.

While Wang and Zheng demonstrated strong first-serve performance (70% success rate), repeated unforced errors proved costly. Jiang and Wu now prepare to face Russia's Mirra Andreeva and Diana Shnaider in Saturday's semifinal clash. The Russian pair advanced after a hard-fought 5-7, 6-3, 10-4 quarterfinal win against Ekaterina Alexandrova and American Peyton Stearns.

This milestone marks growing cross-strait athletic collaboration, with sports analysts noting increased participation in international tournaments by athletes from the Chinese mainland and the Taiwan region.
