North Team Triumphs in 2025 CBA All-Star Game, Zou Yuchen Secures MVP

The North Team overpowered the South Team with a decisive 159-136 victory in the 2025 CBA All-Star Game held on Sunday.

Beijing Royal Fighters' center Zou Yuchen delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a team-high 23 points, and was rightfully named the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

\"The electric atmosphere pushed me to elevate my game. Winning this MVP on the 30th anniversary feels like a career milestone,\" Zou remarked after the game.

Halftime featured a heartfelt tribute to the legends of the inaugural 1996 CBA All-Star Game, celebrating the iconic players and coaches who defined Chinese basketball's \"Golden Generation\".

In other competitions, Guangdong Southern Tigers' guard Xu Jie claimed his second title in the Skill Challenge Contest. Shanxi Loongs' sharpshooter Yuan Shuai impressed audiences by scoring 25 points in the final round, successfully defending his title in the three-point shooting contest. Additionally, wildcard entrant Chen Dengxing captivated fans by leaping over seven teammates for a gravity-defying dunk, winning the slam dunk contest.

\"Many legends here inspired me as a child. I've trained harder than most on shooting. Scoring 25 points back-to-back is special, but I aim to break this record next time,\" Yuan expressed.
