The opening point was secured by Rinov Rivaldy and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, who dominated the mixed doubles match against Gao Jiaxuan and Wu Mengying with scores of 21-11 and 21-13.
Indonesia extended their lead further when Alwi Farhan triumphed in the men's singles, overcoming Hu Zhean in straight games. Reflecting on the match, Hu commented, \"Today I didn't perform well, especially in terms of tactical discipline. I've learned a lot these days. I didn't give up when I was behind, and I tried my best to catch up every time. Also, I'm more confident now.\"
China made a push in the women's singles as Xu Wenjing delivered a strong performance, defeating Putri Kusuma Wardani 21-12 and 21-13, narrowing the gap for her team. Xu shared her thoughts, saying, \"I did feel nervous on the court, but I had already thought about all kinds of difficulties I might face and how to handle them. So nothing could affect my performance. I'm very proud that I earned one point for my team.\"
The decisive moment came in the men's doubles match where Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Daniel Marthin outplayed Chen Xujun and Huang Di with scores of 21-15 and 21-9, sealing the championship for Indonesia.
