Real Madrid secured multiple accolades at the Globe Soccer Awards held in Dubai, as players Vinicius Jr., Jude Bellingham, coach Carlo Ancelotti, and other team members were honored at Friday night’s ceremony in the United Arab Emirates.
Vinicius Jr. was the star of the evening, receiving both the Best Men’s Player and Best Forward awards. He surpassed teammates Bellingham and Cristiano Ronaldo of Al Nassr to clinch the top individual prize. The Brazilian forward’s impressive performance, recording 25 goals and 12 assists in 40 games, was instrumental in leading “Los Blancos” to victories in the Spanish La Liga, Supercopa de España, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Intercontinental Cup during the 2023-24 season.
Expressing gratitude, Vinicius Jr. thanked his teammates, family, and his former club Flamengo for their support and contributions to his success. He emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving personal accolades and looked forward to an incredible year ahead.
Jude Bellingham was honored with the Best Midfielder award and the Diego Maradona Award after tallying 23 goals and providing 13 assists for Real Madrid in the 2023-24 campaign. Coach Carlo Ancelotti was recognized as the Best Coach, rounding off a successful night for the Spanish club.
