The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has announced that China’s World No. 5 Zheng Qinwen has been honored as the Fan Favorite in Singles for the season, based on votes from fans around the globe.
Zheng kicked off the season with a strong performance, reaching her maiden Grand Slam final at the Australian Open. Her runner-up finish at Melbourne Park propelled her into the Top 10 rankings, making her only the second Chinese player to achieve this milestone, following the legendary Li Na.
