San Francisco 49ers Secure Brandon Aiyuk with 4-Year, $120 Million Deal
The San Francisco 49ers have officially signed a four-year, $120 million contract extension with their star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, as reported by ESPN on Thursday. Aiyuk, entering the final year of his five-year rookie contract, was drafted 25th overall by the 49ers in 2020. Since joining the league, he has amassed impressive statistics with 269 receptions out of 399 targets, totaling 3,931 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns. His performance earned him a spot on the Second-team All-Pro last season.
“We fully intend on Brandon being a Niner moving forward,” Lynch stated back in July. “We’re always open to listen to things but like I said, we expect Brandon to be an integral part of our team like he has been and excited about that.”
The 49ers concluded the 2023 regular season with an impressive 12-win record, marking their third consecutive playoff appearance. Their postseason run led them to Super Bowl LVIII, where they faced the Kansas City Chiefs but ultimately fell short of victory.
