The 28-year-old Xie defended his title with a stunning score of 543.60 points, finishing 13.20 points ahead of his 22-year-old compatriot Wang. The duo had previously teamed up to win the men’s 3-meter synchronized event in Tokyo, showcasing their prowess both individually and together.
Mexico’s Osmar Olvera Ibarra impressed the audience with his performance, earning the bronze medal with 500.40 points and adding excitement to the fiercely contested final.
