Retired Chinese sailboat racer Xu Lijia has lauded the remarkable performances of tennis players Zheng Qinwen, Zhang Zhizhen, and Wang Xinyu at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Zheng Qinwen’s Historic Run

Zheng Qinwen stunned the tennis world by defeating World No. 1 Iga Swiatek of Poland, becoming the first Chinese player to reach a singles final at the Summer Olympics. Her tenacity and skill have captivated fans globally. Zheng is set to face Croatia’s Donna Vekic in the women’s singles gold medal match on Saturday.

Zhang Zhizhen and Wang Xinyu’s Silver Triumph

The duo of Zhang Zhizhen and Wang Xinyu brought pride to China by securing the country’s first Olympic tennis medal in Paris. They faced the Czech pair of Tomas Machac and Katerina Siniakova in a thrilling mixed doubles final on Friday.
