Chinese Shooters Claim First Gold at Paris 2024 in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Event

In a thrilling start to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, China's Huang Yuting and Sheng Lihao secured the first gold medal on Saturday in the 10-meter air rifle mixed team shooting final. The Chinese duo triumphed over South Korea's Keum Ji-hyeon and Park Ha-jun with a final score of 16-12.

Meanwhile, in the battle for bronze, Kazakhstan's Alexandra Le and Islam Satpayev delivered an impressive performance against Germany's Maximilian Ulbrich and Anna Janssen. The Kazakh duo secured the podium spot with a decisive 17-5 win, bringing home Kazakhstan's first medal of the Games.
