Sports Illustrated, one of America’s most iconic magazines, has found a new lease on life after months of uncertainty. On Monday, a new 10-year publishing agreement was announced, ensuring the continuation of its print edition.

The magazine had faced turbulence following a payment dispute between its intellectual property owner, Authentic Brands Group (ABG), and its former publisher, Arena Group. Earlier this year, Arena Group announced layoffs and indicated that the print edition might be discontinued by the summer.

The situation took a positive turn as ABG selected Minute Media as the new publisher under the decade-long deal. This partnership is expected to revitalize the publication and maintain its longstanding tradition of delivering in-depth sports journalism.
