Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory message to Alexander Lukashenko on his recent reelection as the President of Belarus.
In his message on Monday, Xi noted the close contact he has maintained with Lukashenko over recent years. Together, they have charted the course for and led the development of China-Belarus relations, elevating bilateral ties to an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership at an all-time high.
Political mutual trust between the two nations has been continuously consolidated, and Belt and Road cooperation has yielded fruitful results with effective multilateral coordination, Xi emphasized.
Expressing his commitment to the future of China-Belarus relations, Xi stated that he attaches great importance to their development. He expressed his willingness to work closely with Lukashenko to continue the traditional friendship between the two countries.
