Xi Jinping Chairs CPC Central Committee Meeting on Disciplinary Inspection Findings

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, chaired a meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on Monday to review a report on the third round of disciplinary inspections launched by the 20th CPC Central Committee.

The inspection results indicated strengthened Party building across central Party and state departments as well as centrally administered financial institutions. Despite new achievements in various areas, the meeting acknowledged that challenges and problems persist.

The meeting called for addressing the issues identified during the inspections to promote high-quality development through effective rectification. Party committees at all levels were urged to enhance their political responsibility, take decisive actions to overcome challenges, and carry out reform tasks with unwavering determination while guarding against risks in key areas.

Emphasizing a continued tough stance against corruption, the meeting stressed the necessity of eradicating the root causes and enabling conditions of graft. It called for a persistent and long-term fight against corruption to ensure the integrity and resilience of the Party.
