Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday urged China and Laos to forge a model for Belt and Road cooperation, emphasizing the strategic significance of their partnership in the evolving international landscape.
During a meeting with Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Central Committee and president of Laos, Xi highlighted the importance of strengthening the development of the China-Laos Railway and promoting the construction of the China-Laos Economic Corridor.
