President Xi Jinping has called upon southeast China’s Fujian Province to take a pioneering role in the nation’s modernization efforts. During his inspection tour on Tuesday and Wednesday, Xi emphasized the importance of the province’s commitment to its development goals.
As the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, Xi highlighted Fujian’s strategic position in accelerating the development of a modern economic system. He urged local authorities and residents to continue making significant strides in this endeavor.
“Fujian should continue to make greater progress in accelerating the development of a modern economic system,” Xi stated during his visit. He encouraged the province to harness its unique advantages and contribute actively to China’s overall modernization drive.
