EU Seeks to Strengthen Dialogue with China, Says European Council President Michel

The European Union hopes to resolve relevant issues through dialogue and consultation and promote the development of EU-China economic and trade relations, European Council President Charles Michel said on Friday.

Michel made the remarks during a meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang on the sidelines of the leaders’ meetings on East Asia cooperation held in Vientiane.

During the meeting, Michel emphasized the importance of EU-China relations, noting that enhanced dialogue is essential for addressing global challenges and fostering mutual economic growth.
