The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission have jointly sent congratulatory letters to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC).

In their messages, the leadership extended heartfelt greetings and congratulations to people of various ethnic groups within the XPCC. The letters highlighted the “historical achievements” made over the past seven decades, emphasizing the Corps’ progress in deepening reform, promoting high-quality development, and pursuing modernization since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012.

Praising the pivotal role of the XPCC in realizing the strategic goals for the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the leadership expressed hope that the Corps would continue to enhance its ability to safeguard border areas. They also encouraged continued efforts in advancing high-quality development to further improve the livelihood of local people.

The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is a unique social organization that operates administrative and judicial functions within the reclamation areas under its jurisdiction, in accordance with the laws and regulations of China and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Established 70 years ago, the XPCC has been instrumental in fostering stability, development, and unity in the region.
