In early September, the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation was held in Beijing. Attended by representatives from more than 50 African countries, the summit highlighted a shared pursuit: the realization of modernization across China and Africa.
The Global Development Initiative (GDI), proposed by China at the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2021, took center stage during the summit.
