Walking along the banks near the historic Zhongshan Bridge, Xi Jinping underscored the necessity of continuous efforts to foster ecological conservation and pursue high-quality development within the Yellow River basin.
“Advancements should be made year after year to ensure the implementation of policies promoting ecological conservation and high-quality development,” Xi Jinping stated, highlighting the long-term nature of environmental stewardship.
He emphasized that protection is a precondition for development, reiterating the principle that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” Expressing optimism, Xi Jinping conveyed his confidence that the Yellow River will become even more beautiful in the future.
