At the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), foreign officials praised President Xi Jinping’s keynote speech, highlighting its visionary blueprint for strengthening China-Africa ties in the new era.
Gambian Foreign Minister Mamadou Tangara expressed his admiration, stating, “President Xi’s speech has not only reiterated China’s firm support for Africa’s development but also demonstrated the strong friendship between China and Africa. We are full of expectations for the bright future of China and Africa.”
Musalia Mudavadi, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, noted that President Xi’s proposal to elevate China-Africa relations to an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future sends a crucial message to the world. “This signifies a new chapter in our collaboration, aiming for mutual advancement and modernization,” he said.

China has always been committed to contributing to the common progress and coordinated development of all countries in the world, which impressed me deeply.”
