Beijing, [Date] — In a significant move to bolster regional stability, Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, expressed China’s readiness to work with Japan to promote the sound and stable development of bilateral ties.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made these remarks on Wednesday during a meeting with Toshihiro Nikai, chairman of the Japan-China Friendship Parliamentarians’ Union, in Beijing.
