On Wednesday, the coast guard authority in southeast China’s Fujian Province conducted regular law-enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen, as announced by the China Coast Guard (CCG) in a recent statement.
Since August, the Fujian coast guard has been intensifying patrols in this area. The CCG emphasized that these operations are designed to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese fishermen, including those from the Taiwan region. The enhanced patrols aim to ensure the safety of their lives and property and to maintain normal navigation within the Xiamen-Kinmen maritime area.
