Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and her newly-selected vice presidential running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, kicked off their joint campaign on Tuesday in Philadelphia. The duo addressed a crowd of more than 10,000 enthusiastic supporters at Temple University, marking their first appearance together as a ticket.
In his inaugural speech as the vice presidential nominee, Walz shared his personal journey, highlighting his upbringing in a small Nebraska town, his 24 years of service in the Army National Guard, and his career as a high school social studies teacher and football coach.
