Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi highlighted the significance of President Xi Jinping’s recent visit to Central Asia, emphasizing its impact on regional cooperation and development. Speaking to the media on Saturday, Wang detailed how President Xi’s attendance at the 24th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and his state visits to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan have charted a course for the SCO’s future and deepened friendships with neighboring countries.
