Tajik President Emomali Rahmon bid a warm farewell to Chinese President Xi Jinping at the airport on Saturday, marking the conclusion of Xi’s significant state visit to Tajikistan.
During this pivotal visit, China and Tajikistan agreed to elevate their bilateral relationship to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership in the new era, signaling a deepened commitment to mutual cooperation and regional development.
Also present at the farewell were Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, along with Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin, underscoring the importance of the occasion.
In a gesture symbolizing the strengthened ties, President Rahmon presented Xi with a precious photo album documenting his three visits to Tajikistan since 2014.
