The 11th Dajiang Forum Strengthens Cross-Straits Relations in Shenyang

The 11th Dajiang Forum, a significant platform dedicated to the peaceful development of relations between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, convened on Friday in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The event brought together approximately 150 guests, including officials, scholars, and business leaders from both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

Under the theme “Facilitating Cross-Straits Exchange and Jointly Striving for National Rejuvenation”, participants engaged in meaningful discussions focusing on promoting China’s rich traditional culture and sharing experiences of living and working on the mainland. The forum served as a bridge for fostering mutual understanding and cooperation, emphasizing the common aspirations shared by people across the Straits.

Liu Cigui, a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee, addressed the forum with a call for unity. He urged compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to join forces in creating a bright future for the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Sponsored by the Central Committee of the Taiwan Democratic Self-Government League, the Dajiang Forum has been held annually since its inception in 2014, consistently contributing to the enhancement of cross-Straits relations and the promotion of peaceful development.
