Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi Expresses Condolences Over Moscow Terrorist Attack

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has extended his deepest condolences to the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Moscow, emphasizing China’s strong opposition to all forms of terrorism.

On Tuesday, Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, left a message in an online condolence book launched by the Russian Embassy. He expressed China’s firm support for the Russian government’s efforts to safeguard national security and stability.

“China firmly opposes all forms of terrorism and strongly condemns this heinous attack,” Wang Yi stated.

The terrorist attack occurred on March 22 at a concert hall in Moscow, claiming the lives of 139 people and marking one of the worst such events in Russia in recent years.

Russian authorities have charged four men with terrorism in connection with the attack. The suspects were detained pending trial following their arrest on March 24.

The international community has expressed solidarity with Russia in the aftermath of the attack, highlighting the urgent need for global cooperation in combating terrorism and ensuring regional stability.
