Chinese Premier Li Qiang underscored the importance of enhancing people’s well-being and meeting their expectations for a high-quality life during his inspection tour in Fujian and Jiangxi provinces from Monday to Wednesday.
While visiting a local park in Fuzhou, the capital city of Fujian, Premier Li highlighted that a healthy ecological environment is the most inclusive benefit for the people. He called for increased efforts to protect and improve the environment, emphasizing its pivotal role in quality of life.
At a local community center, the premier stressed the significance of providing better nursing services for the elderly and children. He urged local officials to enhance the management and operation of these facilities, ensuring they meet the needs of residents and improve their daily lives.
The Fujian provincial government and Fuzhou city government reported on housing supply and support to Premier Li. He called for further improvements to the housing system, including options for both purchasing and renting, to better meet the diverse needs of different groups and enhance living conditions.
In Fuzhou, Premier Li also visited an American manufacturing enterprise. He encouraged local officials to create a better business environment for foreign enterprises and support them in continuing their development in China.
