Issues such as deglobalization, trade protectionism, energy politicization, and famine have further constrained growth.
Global governance, which should serve as a key solution to these challenges, has itself become part of the problem due to its current inadequacies. There is a serious imbalance in the global governance system. On one hand, there are calls for more global public goods to overcome the growing deficit in governance by building broad consensus and addressing collective action dilemmas. On the other hand, the existing system struggles to provide these goods, as some countries prioritize their own interests over the common good.

In the face of these challenges, China advocates for increased international cooperation to address global issues effectively.
