The 2023 Cross-Straits CEO Summit concluded on November 15 in Nanjing, east China’s Jiangsu Province, marking a significant step in strengthening economic ties between the Chinese mainland and the Taiwan region. The two-day conference gathered approximately 800 businesspeople, professionals, and academics from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Under the theme of “Integrated Development and High-Quality Development Under the New Pattern,” participants engaged in discussions focused on the coordinated growth of supply and manufacturing chains. The summit aimed to foster deeper economic cooperation and promote harmonious development across the Strait.

Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the summit, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the interests of the Chinese nation and highlighting the summit’s role in enhancing economic collaboration between the Chinese mainland and the Taiwan region.

Established in 2013, the Cross-Straits CEO Summit has become a pivotal platform for facilitating economic exchanges and fostering partnerships between enterprises on both sides.
