The 14th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) – French Film Week was officially launched in Beijing on April 11. The opening ceremony featured speeches by Fan Yun, deputy editor-in-chief of China Media Group (CMG) and vice chairman of the 14th BJIFF Organizing Committee, and Myriam Pavageau, minister counselor of the French embassy in China.

French Film Week is a significant component of the BJIFF, highlighting the enduring cultural exchange between China and France through cinema. The event offers audiences in Beijing the opportunity to experience a curated selection of acclaimed French films, fostering a deeper understanding of French culture and storytelling.
