China Renews Blue Alert for Gales Across Multiple Regions

China’s national observatory has continued to issue a blue alert for gales, warning of strong winds across multiple regions from 8 a.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday. According to the National Meteorological Center, areas in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hebei, Jilin, and Gansu provinces are expected to experience strong winds of varying intensity.

Additionally, parts of the Yellow Sea are forecast to undergo high-intensity gales during this period. The observatory has cautioned ships navigating or operating in affected waters to be vigilant due to the heightened risks posed by the gales.

Relevant departments have been urged to implement precautionary measures focusing on fire prevention and transport safety. Residents are advised to stay alert, and pedestrians and vehicles should avoid lingering under or near tall buildings, billboards, or trees that may be unstable due to the strong winds.

China operates a four-tier, color-coded weather warning system for strong winds, with red representing the most severe warning, followed by orange, yellow, and blue.
