China-CEEC Expo 2024: Green Tech, Trade, and Cultural Bridges in Ningbo

The 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Expo in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, has emerged as a pivotal platform for fostering economic collaboration and cultural dialogue between China and 14 CEEC nations. This year’s event expanded its global footprint, welcoming nine non-CEEC participants, including the United Kingdom and Germany, underscoring its growing influence in shaping cross-continental partnerships.

With over 3,000 exhibitors, the expo highlighted breakthroughs in green technology and smart manufacturing, from AI-driven robotics to sustainable energy solutions. These innovations align with the Belt and Road Initiative’s industrial synergies, offering new opportunities for businesses and investors eyeing Asia’s rapidly evolving markets.

Cultural Exchange in Focus

Beyond trade, the expo celebrated cultural ties through art exhibitions and culinary showcases. Polish student Maksymilian Szabatin noted,

British influencer Teshkow Sharif added,
