A landslide struck Jinping Village in Junlian County, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Saturday, resulting in one death, two injuries, and 28 missing individuals. By Saturday midnight, the disaster had buried 10 residential houses and a production building. Over 200 residents have been evacuated, and a temporary shelter has been established at a local school. Rescue operations are currently underway to locate and assist those affected by the landslide.
