Firefighters Bring Warmth to Quake-Affected Villagers in Xizang

It's been more than a week since a magnitude-6.8 earthquake struck Dingri County in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region on January 7. Resettlement and reconstruction efforts are still underway as communities strive to rebuild their lives.

In Cuo'ang Village, Quluo Town, Dingri County, firefighters from the Xizang Forest Firefighting Special Operations Unit are going beyond their call of duty. They are preparing lunch for the quake-affected villagers, bringing comfort and a sense of normalcy amid the chaos.

Our reporter, Zhao Chenchen, visited the frontline where the aroma of home-cooked meals fills the air. The firefighters' efforts provide not just nourishment but also hope for the future, demonstrating the strength and solidarity of the community during these challenging times.
