In Ortaköy Square, Turkey, viewers can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Bosphorus Strait and learn about Turkish traditions for ringing in the New Year. In the Gaza Strip, people in the war zone share their hopes for a New Year ceasefire.
Back in Beijing, lion dance performances are being held at the 798 Art Zone to celebrate the New Year. In Arxan, Inner Mongolia, the Wulanmuqi Art Troupe will perform, featuring interactions with fairy characters and a spectacular fireworks show.
CGTN’s Hanfu Studio is organizing a Hanfu-themed event in Xi’an in collaboration with young Hanfu enthusiasts and musicians. Young Chinese from different parts of the world are sending in their short videos to join the celebration. Fireworks displays are also scheduled in Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Inner Mongolia, Chongqing, and other locations.
