The conflict in the region has intensified, leading to tragic consequences. At least 77 Palestinians were killed in a strike on Beit Lahiya, a town in northern Gaza. The violence has also escalated along the Lebanon-Israel border. According to the Lebanese health ministry, at least 60 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa Valley.
The ongoing violence underscores the urgency for a ceasefire agreement as regional tensions continue to rise. The absence of Hamas from the talks raises concerns about the potential effectiveness of the negotiations.
