Young Voices Chart Course on 21st Century Maritime Silk Road

The Communication University of China recently hosted an inspiring episode of “The Power of Youth+”, bringing together young communicators from Pakistan and Malaysia to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. The event highlighted how youth perspectives are reshaping the narrative of this modern maritime endeavor.

Participants delved into the challenges and opportunities that the Belt and Road Initiative presents, sharing personal stories and experiences. They discussed how young professionals are navigating cross-cultural communication, fostering international cooperation, and contributing to economic and social development along the Maritime Silk Road.

“As young communicators, we have a unique role in bridging gaps and promoting understanding across nations,” said a guest from Pakistan. A Malaysian participant added, “Our generation is poised to make significant contributions to the Belt and Road Initiative by embracing innovation and collaboration.”

The episode served as a platform for vibrant exchange, emphasizing the importance of youth engagement in advancing regional connectivity and mutual growth.
