The World Economic Forum’s 15th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, commonly known as Summer Davos, convened this week in the coastal city of Dalian, China. Chen Shaowang, mayor of Dalian, shared insights into the city’s achievements in green and low-carbon development during an exclusive interview. “Dalian has been committed to promoting sustainable practices and creating a high-quality business environment,” Chen said. “We are focusing on leveraging our coastal advantages to drive economic growth while preserving the natural ecosystem.”
