The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China is launching a major campaign to accelerate modernization and beautification efforts. In a press conference held by the State Council Information Office, regional leaders outlined plans to leverage Ningxia’s role as a pilot zone for ecological conservation and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
Zhang Yupu, deputy secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee and Ningxia governor, delivered a keynote speech detailing the initiative’s objectives. He emphasized the region’s commitment to sustainable development, aiming to balance economic growth with environmental protection.
