Huzhou and Montargis Mayors Celebrate 20 Years of Sister City Partnership

As China and France commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations, the sister cities of Huzhou and Montargis mark two decades of a thriving partnership. In a recent dialogue hosted by CGTN’s Wang Guan, Mayor Hong Hupeng of Huzhou and Mayor Benoît Digeon of Montargis reflected on their shared history and discussed future collaborations.

Over the past 20 years, Huzhou and Montargis have fostered strong cultural exchanges, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between their residents. “Our partnership has been a bridge connecting our people, enriching our cultures, and promoting prosperity in both cities,” said Mayor Hong Hupeng.
