Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, known for its breathtaking scenery, rich resources, and vibrant culture, is once again in the spotlight. Kashgar City, a historic trade hub on the ancient Silk Road, has been selected as a sub-venue for the 2024 Spring Festival Gala, joining three other Chinese cities.
With its flavorful food, beautiful landscapes, unique culture, and distinctive architectural styles, Kashgar City offers a captivating glimpse into the heart of Xinjiang. Earlier in February, the show “Beauty in Xinjiang,” produced to celebrate the Chinese New Year, became one of the most-watched New Year programs in China. The program showcased the region’s cultural heritage through music, dance, and creative performances.
The return of “Beauty in Xinjiang” promises an incredible lineup of breathtaking performances that highlight the diversity and richness of Xinjiang’s traditions. The event underscores Kashgar’s role in connecting China to the West and its significance as a popular tourist destination.
The program is scheduled to air at 18:50 Beijing Time on March 10, offering audiences worldwide an opportunity to experience the vibrant culture and artistic expressions of Xinjiang.
