From November 8 to 10, Beijing is hosting the 2023 Financial Street Forum, a pivotal event concentrating on financial reform, openness, and innovation. Bringing together over 400 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from 30 countries and regions, the forum serves as a melting pot of ideas and strategies to shape the future of the global financial landscape.
This year’s theme, “Monetary Cooperation and Diversification of the International Monetary System,” sets the stage for deep discussions among global guests. The forum aims to explore pathways to establish a more harmonious and diversified international monetary order, addressing challenges and opportunities in today’s interconnected financial world.
Founded in 2012, the Financial Street Forum has evolved into a significant platform for financial dialogue and cooperation. The event is jointly organized by the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the People’s Bank of China, Xinhua News Agency, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
Participants will engage in panels and sessions focused on topics such as financial innovation, regulatory frameworks, and international monetary cooperation. The forum provides an opportunity for business professionals, investors, academics, and policymakers to network and collaborate on advancing financial stability and growth in Asia and beyond.
