The annual 2023 Financial Street Forum commenced today in Beijing, drawing over 400 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from 30 countries and regions. Running from November 8 to 10, the forum focuses on financial reform, openness, and innovation in the global financial landscape.
Under the theme “Strengthening International Macro-policy Dialogue and Improving Global Economic and Financial Resilience“, the first main forum aims to foster deep discussions among global guests to address the challenges facing the financial environment. Participants will engage in dialogues on macroeconomic policies, financial stability, and cooperative strategies to enhance global economic resilience.
Established in 2012, the Financial Street Forum is a significant event jointly organized by the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, the People’s Bank of China, Xinhua News Agency, China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. The forum has become a pivotal platform for international financial collaboration and policy dialogue.
This year’s conference is expected to yield insights into financial innovation and reform, providing valuable perspectives for business professionals, investors, academics, and policymakers worldwide. The event underscores Beijing’s role as a central hub in the global financial sector, promoting openness and fostering connections among financial markets across Asia and beyond.
