The 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in Beijing is offering visitors an immersive journey into the metaverse.
Shougang Park, one of the two venues for this year’s CIFTIS, has transformed its iconic No.1 Blast Furnace into the SoReal Metaverse Park. This innovative space allows attendees to explore cutting-edge virtual environments and interact with advanced technologies.
The No.10 Exhibition Hall at Shougang Park has been creatively upgraded to include designated areas for augmented reality (AR) experiences and a virtual conference featuring interactive artificial intelligence. The hall is divided into four sub-halls—A, B, C, and D—each offering unique insights into the evolving landscape of digital services.
Held from September 2 to 6, the fair is themed “Openness Leads Development; Cooperation Creates a Shared Future.” It is hosted at both the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park, highlighting Beijing’s commitment to fostering international collaboration in the trade of services.
Participants from around the globe have the opportunity to witness firsthand how the integration of the metaverse and virtual reality is shaping the future of global trade, technology, and cultural exchange.
