Global Students Highlight Youth Diplomacy Ahead of Boao Forum 2025

As the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) prepares for its 2025 Annual Conference in Hainan Province, international students are spotlighting the power of youth-driven cultural exchange. The forum, set to take place March 25–28 under the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future," aims to strengthen regional cooperation through innovation and dialogue—a mission echoed in grassroots cross-cultural initiatives.

Students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, and Vietnam recently shared their experiences participating in intercultural activities across the Chinese mainland. Vietnamese student Do Pham Ngoc Die described Tsinghua University’s "Global Village" event, where participants wore traditional attire and connected through music and cuisine. "Cross-cultural communication breaks barriers and builds understanding," she emphasized, noting how such exchanges foster a sense of shared identity.

Their stories align with the BFA’s focus on tangible outcomes for international collaboration. As Asia’s economic and political influence grows, these personal narratives underscore the role of youth in shaping a cohesive global community ahead of critical dialogues at the 2025 forum.
