1,001 Wishes: South Korean Marketer Envisions Greater China Exchanges in 2025

As 2024 draws to a close, the China Global Television Network (CGTN) has launched a global social media campaign titled “1,001 Wishes for 2025 #Hello2025.” The campaign invites participants from around the world to share their hopes and aspirations for the upcoming year, embracing a message of global unity and collaboration.

Available in 81 languages, the campaign aims to gather a diverse array of perspectives, highlighting the shared dreams that connect people across different cultures and nations. Among those participating is No Yoon-ji, a marketer from South Korea, who envisions a 2025 where social media serves as a bridge between cultures, fostering inclusiveness and mutual understanding.

“I hope to connect more people through social media in 2025,” says No. “By understanding the cultures of different countries, we can enhance inclusiveness and promote social and economic exchanges between nations.”
